Essential Job Functions

The Technology Project Manager will lead our pilot production and sustaining engineering operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the pilot production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of cutting-edge technology products. This position requires a strong background in downhole electronic instrumentation, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement 

Role and Responsibilities

Production Oversight:

  • Manage and optimize the end-to-end manufacturing process for wireline products. 

  • Ensure the production schedule is met, and products meet quality standards. 

  • Implement and maintain best practices for efficient manufacturing operations. 

    Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled technology team. 

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. 

  • Provide guidance and support to resolve technical challenges in the manufacturing and sustaining process. 

    Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure product excellence. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues promptly. 

    Supply Chain:

  • Develop and lead a robust supply chain network to optimize pilot manufacturing efficiency and costs. 

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising product quality. 

    Process Improvement:

  • Develop and implement strategies for process optimization and efficiency improvements. 

  • Stay abreast of technological advancements in manufacturing and recommend upgrades. 

    Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. 

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address and resolve compliance issues. 

    Supplier Management:

  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of components. 

  • Evaluate and negotiate supplier contracts to maximize value for the organization. 

    Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess potential risks in the manufacturing process. 

  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations. 

  • Work with multiple projects simultaneously based on the assignments. 

  • Continuously fully comply with all regulatory related requirements. 

  • Work safely at all times. 

  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards. 

  • Committed to a high standard of safety and willing to comply with all safety laws and all of the company’s safety policies and rules. Must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

    Skills and Experiences

  • 5+ years of Industrial experience in wireline tools and/or related field 

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within wireline technology team. 

  • Proven knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management. 

  • Proven, strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. 

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 

  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards. 

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement. 

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field or equivalent work experience 

Physical Demands

  • Could involve some lifting, up to 20 lbs.
